I read recently that it was more the agitation and soap which got rid of the bacteria; even washing in hot water (boiling) didn’t kill all the baddies. These are modern cloth, so they’re made from PUL, bamboo, and microfleece. I hang them in the sun to dry when it’s sunny, but in rainy weather, they dry undercover (still outside).

they are kinda dirty and it seems easy to just throw them in the washing machine and see what happens. anyone ever tried this?

The fake blood is made out of corn syrup and red food coloring. I need to get it out fast (without throwing it in the washing machine). Can I use dish soap and cold water to get most of it out?

After owning a shirt for a couple of months, these tiny holes show up. They are so tiny, it looks like someone took a pencil and poked a hole with the tip. They are always in the bottom-front part of my cotton shirts. The holes never show up in my blue jeans or slacks.

I don’t stretch my shirts or lean on anything at work. I also don’t believe I have moths because it is a new apartment and I have a plastic Rubbermaid dresser to store my clothes. My boyfriend DOES NOT get holes in his shirts. He has way more shirts than I do, so I have to wash my clothes more often.

Do you think it is my dryer settings, laundry detergent, washing machine,or something else? (It is a new washing machine, by the way)

My washing machine stopped spinning about a week ago. The clothes are left soaked at the end of the cycle. When I open the washer lid there is a burning smell coming from the washer. No smoke, just burning. My husband replaced a safety switch that has to do with opening the lid of the washer, but that didn’t do the trick. The washer is only 3 years old. It is agitating and draining the water, just no spinning. Please help!
