I like cooking with cast iron, but I know you’re not supposed to use soap on it because it’s porous. How do you clean it then? I’ve used it once and it’s currently soaking in hot water because I don’t know what to do with it.

We are currently using Electrosol powder dish detergent in our GE Triton XL dishwasher, and for the past month or so after almost all uses we notice that the powder soap has hardened and remained in the soap cup/dispenser. WE have used Electrosol previously with no problem, so we are wondering why it is doing this now. What is causing this, and how can we correct it?

I have a jetted tub in the house that I recently purchased. The house was empty for at least 8 months. When I turn the jetted tub on, small pieces of black film spit out.

I can’t get rid of them. I’ve tried using soap and whirlpool systems clean. I’ve also tried just running straight water for a long period of time. HOW DO I GET RID OF THIS STUFF?

Some mold got onto a container but my dad insisted that we clean and keep the container. I’m a little skeptical about it being sanitary so I’m just wondering would regular soap and scrub do?

My little brother cleaned his hamster cage in the bath tub and apparently it’s all clogged up. I tried plumbing it and pouring soap down, but nothing seems to work. It just keeps coming back up. How do i fix it without calling the plumber?

By the way UGG boots are made out of sheep skin so its a soft type of suede And I washed then with some KIWI suede cleaner wich is basically like soap. help?

I’m in a play and in one scene my character waves around cutlery. The problem with this is that the forks and knives reflect badly on the lights and creates a blinding effect towards the audience.
My director asked me to wash the cutlery with a bar of soap, (i’m using an organic, olive oil based bar of soap) and told me it would take away the shine.
The trouble with this is that it isn’t working!
Any advice on what i should do?

I use only a little drop or two since it bubbles up so much with even the smallest amount. The amount in the bottle never seems to go down. Other people run out so fast because they pour so much in. Is it me or do you need very little soap to hand wash things since the soap is so powerful?

My laundry always comes out with this unclean smell. I already tried washing the clothes twice and rinsing them 4 times. I also use a fabric softener. Some says i don’t use enough soap others say otherwise.
