What is an alternative to carbon dioxide for feeding plants indoor?

Thursday, December 10th, 2009

I am growing pumpkin seeds indoor and they need to have carbon dioxide to convert to oxygen. What should i do other than using a CO2 tank. I have herd stories about people using soap or whatever. But please respond back with help. And also its the winter time so i can’t grow outside.

I spilled milk on my microfiber couch. I cleaned it with soap & water, but now the fabric is stiff. HELP!?

Wednesday, December 9th, 2009

It is a brand new "micro-suede" microfiber sectional couch from Value City, and of course I didn’t want to spend the money on the fabric protection warranty like I should have. The cushions do have a zipper, so would it be safe to remove the microfiber cover and throw it in the washing machine? I don’t want to further destroy my couch, but the stiff, hard spot is awful! Please help!

Is it safe to wash nappies (diapers) on a cold water cycle in the washing machine?

I read recently that it was more the agitation and soap which got rid of the bacteria; even washing in hot water (boiling) didn’t kill all the baddies. These are modern cloth, so they’re made from PUL, bamboo, and microfleece. I hang them in the sun to dry when it’s sunny, but in rainy weather, they dry undercover (still outside).

What to do with that small piece of soap?

Thursday, November 19th, 2009

I don’t want to come across like I’m a cheapskate but after showering today I thought I wonder over my life how many pieces of little soap (too small to hold anymore) have I thrown out. Out of curiosity does anybody have any suggestions on what to do with the little pieces of soap? I really don’t want to get into melting them down or anything like heating it up. Thanks.
