Actually even with the white towels that I have, it’s difficult to get the actual black stains off even with bleach and the Hot setting.

I’ve read people saying that even if the stain remains it is still safe to use the towels. Is this so? I thought I read somewhere that even if the mildew is "dead" it can still cause allergic reactions.

got a plant from my aunt that has this black like stuff on it’s leaves. I would like to know what I can use that I have around the house that will get rid of it.

I packed my clothes away when I went home from school for the summer. When I unpacked them 4 months later, I noticed that a blanket (sweatshirt material) had a few spots of mold or mildew on it. I tried washing it, but that didn’t work. Is there anything else I can try to get rid of it, or is the blanket trashed?

I think I may have put too much Water on it, now it smells like Mildew or something awful, trying to take out Red Stain. Tried everything, is NOT coming out, smell or stain.

I currently use a pressure washer once in a while to clean the mildew and dirt that builds up on my house, but I’m concerned it might dry out the wood faster and cause cracking and damage to the cedar. Is pressure washing the best way to go?

Every time I open the lid to my washing machine it smells like mildew. It seems like the smell it getting stronger. shoiuld I call the repair service or is there something I can use to clean it myself?

I found it in my bathroom. I’m assuming mold, but that’s a really weird mold if it is.

- Mildew is the first thing I thought of, but I have never seen mildew produce leaves like that before. It also turned one of my floor tiles black. Google images show no mildew images that resemble that one.

I have cleaned it with mould and mildew remover. Then rinsed it and left it to dry outside but it has an awful smell left to it.

I then bought some febreeze fabric freshener and have soaked the whole thing in it. After it dried outside I smelt it and it still stinks.

I cant take the fabric off the playpen and therefore cannot wash it!

Anyone got any suggestions!
