What is that? It is on my apartment checkoff list for damaged items, and I have no idea. Sorry I am an international student.
I would like my space heater in my living room but there’s just too much going on in there and I blow a fuse. My den would work fine, but I’d have to run an extension cord. Is it safe? Fire Hazard?
There are walls in my house that have some green-ish spots on them. I have tried to wash them off with some bleach and water and wiped away. Months later, the stuff comes back. The thing has such growth that it goes across a whole wall. Just this weekend the living room wall also has this growth but it’s not near a window. What could it be and how do you stop it?
Im buying new drapes for the dining room which has all cherry wood furniture such as cabinets and a dining table and chairs. All of the walls are white except for one wall is a light tan color to contrast, it was a living room before the dining room but doesnt look bad, the drapes are old and i was wondering what color drapes would look best? if anyone has ideas or pictures please let me know! thanks!
We have a large entryway between the dining room and living room and the dining room has two red walls which we like. Any suggestions on what colors would go well with vibrant red walls (in dining room) and dark floors (throughout) without making the room look smaller? I would like colors that will not clash with red.
I’m looking to buy some furniture for my apartment but of course I don’t have a lot of money. What are some good stores to buy furniture such as living room chairs, entertainment centers, and bathroom shelves from that are good quality but cheap as well?
i mean in a house there is a bedroom, a living room, a dinning room, a bathroom, but why is it not called a kitchen room? its the only thing on the inside of the house (excluding hall way) that dose not have room at the end. why is that?
We are looking to purchase a wood stove. We have a thimble and a hearth in our living room, but no stove. Our house is 1600 square feet and we’re hoping to cut down on our oil heating costs.
We’re debating size (specifically Jotul and Vermont Casting brands) and what size logs we want to accommodate (16 inch logs, 21 inch logs).
Any tips for a couple trying to figure this all out?
