I found a really nice 4,000 sq ft. home for 350 K. But it is only 90% finished and the house still needs cabinets, counters, paint, flooring and landscaping. I would like to have simple granite tops however and for landscaping nothing too fancy just some grass. Can anyone help me estimate the cost of all this?

We are planning to build a home and like anyone want to get the best pricing possible. I would appreciate the names of any websites or stores where I could look. Need things such as: sheetrock(drywall), paint, lighting, furniture, flooring, and so on. Thanks for your help.

We just moved into a house with berber type carpet. Where the carpet meets other carpet(not the wall or other flooring) I have noticed the seams look ragged. Like they are separating is there something that can be done, some seam tape. Carpet replacement is not a current option. I am also not sure about lifting up the carpet to re-tape it, I would be afraid of messing it up more. Is there any of those wonder products that might help, I was just watching a tv infomercial and thought hmmmm.

I am moving into a condo that has Pergo flooring throughout. I would like to put down binded carpet in both the living room (16×14) and the bedroom (12×11) because I prefer carpet, but I would like the next owner to be able to easily return to Pergo if they would like.

How much do you think a job like this would cost? Thanks for your help!

The rooms are not connected. The kitchen is a very pale yellow. It’s so bright and cheerful in the kitchen. I’d like my living room to feel the same way.
The living room floor is biege carpet. I think the features of the kitchen are irrelevant b/c you can’t see one room from the other. Should you disagree,…The kitchen cabinets are white and the flooring is gray white faux marble look.

I like the granite with the cabinets and thought it would look good with the flooring, but they totally clash. Now I can’t stand being in my kitchen.

though it was ceramic tile but now not sure. Must know what it is to fix 5 inch scar left by roommate using my screwdriver while high. He’s gone but if I don’t fix it before they find it will be booted out to. scared panel looks plastic inside the scar itself. panels was original from when building was built back in 1986.

My roommate and I want to do a black and white bathroom, but it has an ugly green tile floor! We rent the apartment, so any changes we make have to be removable. Besides putting down rugs, is there any kind of temporary black colored flooring we can put down?

I dropped my electric guitar on my mom’s new flooring and chipped it. I’m wondering is there anything I can do before she notices it. It’s not a HUGE chip but it’s not a tiny one either. She will soon think its dirt or something then try to scrap it off lol. I just want some suggestions of what I could do ?
