I bought something at JcPenny and it turned out to be broken would they change it?
December 12th, 2009 at 6:07I live far from that store so I don’t want to just show up and get disappointed. The customer service lady said they may not change it . So my question is are they responsible for damage or am I stuck with a broken thing? Any one have experience with this store and broken exchanges. thanks

Exchange policy’s are normally limited to X time ( 30 days) Depending on the problem with the item they may not honer the exchange. Normally they don’t give you a hard time unless the item is used. During the Christmas season return time is normally extended provided they are still carrying the same product. During the rush of returns they don’t normally give you a hard time. Best you can do is try.
