What do you use to clean the tile in your shower?

November 30th, 2009 at 19:07

What do you use?

I have bad build up due to lack of cleaning (admittedly). Sucks cause the tile is only 4 years old.

What’s the best product I can buy to clean filthy bathroom shower tile?

Also, what do you guys use to clean the outside of your stoves and microwaves?

All help appreciated..

Sounds like your life is really what needs cleaned. Try some soap and water.

Scrubbing Bubbles (the kind that foams up, not the spray). I was in a similar situation with my shower, and it did the trick. only thing to watch out for is that the fumes can get a bit strong, so crack the window or wear a mask or something.

for your stove/micro, just use windex or fantastic or try wiping it down with a simple vinegar solution. if they’re stainless steel, apply a bit of baby oil on a clean cloth and lightly buff the appliance after. i swear it’s the best thing to get rid of water marks and fingerprints.

Simply using soap and water won’t do. Use a product that disolves soap scum. I haven’t found that even the scrubbing bubbles product works on build up. It works fine for regular cleaning, after the build up is dissolved.

Be sure and wet the walls down, then spray it on. Do not leave it long enough to dry or you’ll have to start over with the application. Leave it on just about a minute or so. I like to use an old scrubby that I don’t use on my body anymore. Rinse well, and it might need a second application and cleaning to get it completely.

Now, if that does’t do the job completely, you can use Magic Eraser to clean off the faucets and any tough areas. Be sure and wet the pad down completely, then squeeze it dry, and wipe. This works really well.

Get some KA-BOOM and some S.O.S pads. My bathroom looks like it brand new. Spray on the KA-BOOM and let it set for a few minutes and then wet a S.O.S pad and scrub the tile and then rinse it with cold water. You won’t believe what a difference it makes. It looks so good, I don’t let anyone use it. I go to the health club and use theirs.
