  1. Cat Says:

A 90 foot tall sunflower is more than sixty feet TALLER than the world’s tallest sunflower.

Call Guiness!! You’re RICH RICH RICH!! Who cares if it grows legs? (Or better yet – pray that it does…that’ll be worth millions more)

  2. FlowersYes Says:

    A. Sunflowers don’t grow that fast.
    B. What ever it is, is alive because it’s growing.
    C. 90′ tall is not possible. Many trees don’t ever get that tall. That’s about 9 stories high.
    D. Stop being silly. It’s not even a good story unless you climb to the top.

  3. case Says:

    Totally possible.

(Another Obama, having trouble with the truth.)

It sounds like you have been smoking the grass and having un-normally large dreams. Stay off the grass and hope this 90 ft tall sunflower doesn’t come to life.

I know what you mean!! When I grew the Mammoth sunflowers, I noticed a difference in their height everyday. You must be growing one of the super tall varieties, skyscraper, mammoth or gargantuan.

Sunflowers can’t come alive as you mentioned, but definitely are amazing plants to grow and enjoy. They have been known to grow up to 25 feet tall.

The birds you’re finding that have died, may have contracted a disease (such as West Nile disease), which may have spread to other birds who visit and feed off the sunflowers. Wear a pair of disposable gloves when you find a dead bird and throw it in your garbage. It will help reduce the spread of disease to the other birds.
