I live in Chi Nat central thailand and we would like to grow papyrus is it possible?
November 28th, 2009 at 0:32we have several large ponds around the house and the earth is a dense clay could papyrus be grown successfully in or near the water around these ponds?

Yes C. papyrus will grow in and around the ponds. Best to start them in pots placed in the pond, watch for roots coming out of the drain holes, when that happens, plant them in the pond.
