Egg shells are a source of calcium which is a trace mineral needed by plants. Everything else that’s been listed here, except meat, contain elements that are good for flowers. However, none of them do any good until they have completely rotted (composted), In the meantime, while they are rotting, they stink and draw all kinds of pests. Start yourself a properly maintained compost and you will get much more benefit from your eggshells and plant waste.

any organic matter … your glass clippings from lawn mower(most throw em out) banana peels( americas favorite fruit so i know most homes have them) eggshells, any onion peels, leftover veggies parts, that pumpkin from halloween, any trimmings from the turkey, those leftovers form dinner….leaves.. anything that biodegrades fast.. makes great compost mixture and thus… free fertilizer with no harsh chemicals. an all natural approach. i do myself.

fruit peels, orange peels, apple cores,bones from meat.. meat that u didnt eat…. hair cutsclippings, leaves u raked up… potato peels( u gonna have them from thanksgiving)nutshells

try dead fish in the soil…. this works wonders

dig a whole close to the root of the tree…. about 2 feet… then burie the fish… this will make ur tree’s grow quickly

all things that’s basically organic (which means fruits vegies eggshell) could be put into your garden, but you have to leave it to decompose first to be a compost. Also adding worms into the compost is really good too. Also if you collect rain, and water the plants with it, it helps alot too.

Do you know someone with horses? If so, help them clean out the stalls. Put in on your garden now, and till it under.

Eggshells contain calcium which helps strengthen the cell walls of the plant. I believe it also with the overall structure of the plants. It forms calcium oxalate I believe which helps prevent animals from eating your plants. Overall calcium is great for plant growth.

I would suggest making your own compost. you can do that by using worms which eat the your food scraps and turns into a form that your plants can take. Look up vermicomposting.

Not all composting turns out well. There is a skill to it and it can come out brilliant or rubbish.
Eggshells wont do any harm but then again wont be a huge benefit.

Best way is to buy Farm Yard Manure (well rotted)

BUY A COMPOST BIN OR MAKE A COMPOST HEAP IF YOUR GARDEN IS BIG ENOUGH AND RECYCLE ALL YOUR ORGANIC WASTE, GRASS CLIPPINGS AND LEAVES, WHEN IT HAS ROTTED DOWN WELL SAY AFTER A SEASON DIG IT IN LIGHTLY TO THE SOIL. YOU COULD ALSO TRY THE LOCAL RIDING SCHOOL OR FARM FOR FREE (OR CHEAP) MANURE, THIS STILL REALLY NEEDS COMPOSTING AS WELL.
YOU CAN BUY FISH MEAL FROM GARDEN CENTERS AS WELL IT IS VERY GOOD.
