How much to convert 1455 sq ft house to central heat and air. It has gas space heaters and window air cond.?

This house is in Alabama, so really hot here. And it’s a VERY old house too.

    I would say about $5900 bucks. +, – 7%
    Requirements : air duct system, outdoor unit(compressor etc), furnace and cooling coil, a thermostat.
    sounds like a 2 1/2 ton unit will do the job(depending where you live)

    It really depends. My house is about the same size, with about the same setup, and I was quoted anywhere from $7,000 to $11,000. My house is older though, from the fifties, so it may have hiked the price up. I’m not sure about you.

    Most places will give you a free estimate, call around.
