What is a good cleaner for wood floors and will not harm it?

November 13th, 2009 at 17:57

We want to clean wood floors but sometimes cleaners can strip the finish and make the floors look ugly. Need some advice.

Vinegar and water is the best and most mild cleaner. It doesn’t smell great, but once it dries you no longer smell it. 1 cup per gallon of water. No need to rinse, unless you want to.

There is really nothing better than vinegar and water mixture. It’s very safe and cleans so well.

Vinegar (AN ACID) and water will remove the finish from your floor! Also to inform the morons who answered before me, Vinegar is a toxic acid and much more harmful than a regular cleaning product. Now jump of the green cleaner band wagon, try actually reading to know what your are telling people and then realize you wanna be "greenies" are harming the environment worse than the people with brains that you want to look down on!
