How much does it cost to have a house re-bricked?

October 20th, 2009 at 16:43

Consider a 1400-square foot ranch house with an attached garage. Bricks don’t go any higher than the gutter level (not up into the gables). The brick is starting to crack and look ugly (not to mention the color in the first place). It is the old-style soft brick. Inspector said nothing wrong with the structure of the house. How much would it cost to have the whole house re-bricked with a sandstone color brick?

  1. Ernie M Says:

It depends on what area your in, but here is a VERY rough estimate.
    Brick $650 / 100 sq. ft. = $9100
    Labor replace brick $18+ / sq. ft. = $25200
    Total $34300
