What is the best way to lower the pH of potted plants?

October 6th, 2009 at 9:55

I have recently put in some new potted plants, but their leaves are becoming yellow and dying. I researched this and checked the pH of the soil as I was advised and it turns out that it is too high by about 1.0. I am wondering what the best way to reduce the pH of the soil would be?
