		<description>The unit you buy should be around 20,000 BTU. Definitely overcompensate for those high ceilings too. You&#039;ll also want to make sure your condo is properly insulated. If not, you should factor this in too.</description>

General Formula is 1 ton per 400 - 500 square feet. 
Add 800 BTU&#039;s per person when high room occupancy is a factor. 

So using this method a 2.5 ton unit would do you just fine.</description>

		<description>You need someone to do a heat load calculation (manual J) to properly determine this. Anything else is guess work, and as to &quot;rule of thumb&quot;, stick your thumbs where the sun don&#039;t shine and learn to do the job properly!</description>
