Don't buy from Lowes or Home Depot. They don't have service departments to call if something breaks. I don't know about Best Buy or Sears. I would recommend buying from a locally owned full service dealer. They will deliver, install and might even take your old appliances away. The best part is if something stops working, all you have to do is call them and they will send a service man to your house to fix it. I bought a freezer from Home Depot once and it died while under warranty. It was such a hassle trying to get warranty service on it that I ended up paying an independent repairman to fix it.

Honestly I do buy them from Sears,I've never had a problem with them,so I stay with them, however I can't really say what is the best place, might want to shop around, and read customer ratings first. What's good for your situation, might not be for someone else.

The Home Depot. Or Best buy. Sears is okay. Lowe's? Well... I've heard not very good stories about Lowe's but you should shop around in different stores before you buy your appliance. That way you can see price differences between stores, different models they carry, etc.

Or check out their websites. It'll be easier to compare between brands, stores and prices that way.
