They were filthy. I mixed laundry detergent and some bleach and hot water, took them outside, sponged the solution on, scrubbed the bad spots with a soft brush. I did it twice and rinsed with the garden hose and let dry in the sun. They looked and smelled like new. I got two used playpens when we got a new puppy. They were filthy.
